Magic Back to Town
A project calls for openness and nomadic forces of becoming others.
To confront the current widespread states of collective anxiety and scrutinizes human’s severe disconnection with others, including nature, rituals, and ancestors. The show calls “magic back” by staging theatrical nights that are connecting our shared vulnerability with nature’s earth movements.
Cyborg artist Moon Ribas co-creates the piece “Earth-beat” with scenographer Closca, exploring the union between technology and the body, the shared vulnerability of human beings, and the connection with nature.
Live real-time earthquake waiting and transposing seismic data into an improvised dance piece, resonating with acoustic human sound that’s collected from around the world since 2016, live-sonic accompanied by Emilie Weibel, Jason Nazary.
